Welcome to our school, Maplewood Richmond Heights High School in Maplewood, Missouri in the United States. Our school was built in 1929 and is named after the two cities that share the school and make up the district, Maplewood, Missouri and Richmond Heights, Missouri.
Ibn Khaldoun High School is located in a small village near Casablanca called Tit Melil. It was built two years ago and is named after a Muslim historiographer and historian who is often viewed as one of the forerunners of modern historiography, sociology and economics. Ibn Khaldoun is best known for his Muqaddimah (known as Prolegomenon in English), which was discovered, evaluated and fully appreciated first by 19th century European scholarship, although it has also had considerable influence on 17th-century Ottoman historians who relied on his theories to analyze the growth and decline of the Ottoman empire. Later in the 19th century, Western scholars recognized him as one of the greatest philosophers to come out of the Muslim world.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Karmen Phillips Whats a typical day like at MRH? Well first I wake up around 6:30 which is much later for a lot of schools in America, especially in St.Louis Missouri. When we arrive at school we all receive free breakfast if chosen then we start our class. At my school the foreign language that we study is Spanish which happens to be my first class, I then follow up with english class and math class. Later on in the day I take a band class and then my world history class. They offer many sports in my school and many after school recreations.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Emily Vilcek. A typical day for me is waking up at 5:30 AM to go to my other school South Tech. My bus comes at 6:20 and I don’t get back to MRH till about 10:30 AM. I only have about five classes at MRH, so the day goes by pretty fast for me. I study all the main courses except History. I also have a college prep class called College bound.

ReplyDeleteI am latifa HIDAOUI. My first name Latifa means kind. I am 18 years old and I live in Tit Mellil near Casablanca, the economic capital of our country Morocco. I study in Ibn Khaldoun high school, My teachers are great and my friends are cool.
We start school at 8,00 am and we finish at 5,00pm. we have one hour lunch from 12,00 to 1,00 pm. We study different subjects like French, English, Arabic, Islamic Education, Physics, Science, Maths,and Philosophy. wE also have sports one hour a week
